We were at the Omni King Edward Hotel for Angie & Jay’s wedding. 3 Owls provided DJ, sound system, lights, and a projector system to spice up the entertainment for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed partying hard with Angie and Jay’s friends. All genres were welcome but we mostly hit it with Hip-Hop and Top 40.
The Omni King Edward Hotel is located in the heart of Toronto’s downtown district. The ballroom is beautiful and perfectly sized for a wedding reception. It has high ceilings, beautifully sculptured pillars and arches, and is secluded from other hotel guests. Parking is available across the street in front and behind the hotel. Vendors will also appreciate the loading dock at the back of the hotel. This gives us easy access to the elevator to bring equipment to the ballroom.
The afternoon started with a wedding ceremony. The guests were then ushered to another room to enjoy some refreshments. We then started with the reception which included a four course meal. A special slideshow and speeches were done throughout the evening. Once everyone was ready, we opened the dance floor to get the party started!

Guests received these wedding favours.

Guests were welcomed outside with the party favours as well as a beautiful portrait of Angie and Jay.

Uplights make columns pop.

The centre of the ballroom is absolutely beautiful.

The florists outdid themselves with this one.

The aisle was decorated with a runner. Petals were then laid on top of it in the shape of a heart and Angie and Jay’s initials.

We use wireless uplights so there aren’t any ugly wires to trip over.

A look at the DJ booth. We’re very friendly and easily accessible to guests.

The ceremony was officiated by Drew Goursky.

A view of the head table. Only the bride, groom, best man and maid of honour sat here.

Some appetizers. This was prosciutto, salad and a slice of bread. Very tasty to whet an appetite.

Soup

Crusted salmon with Green Beans.

And the highlight of our dinner that evening…

We had a couple of performances this evening, including a belly dancer.
