Congratulations to Loretta & Keith for a beautiful, fun and successful wedding at the Shangri-la Banquet Hall & Convention Centre.  We provided out wedding DJ services at this wedding banquet hall located in Markham.

We started with the Chinese Tea Ceremony then proceeded to the Cocktail hour.  Hip and mellow music filled the air as guests enjoyed their drinks.

As with most banquets here, the servers paraded the first course complete with sparklers.  Everyone enjoyed the twelve courses while contemporary songs were played in the background.  We had several games to make the evening more lively and fun.  After all, it’s not all about the food here.

Loretta & Keith are accomplished world travelers.  We saw this influence in the way they numbered (or shall I say, named) the dinner tables.  Each table is named after favourite cities they have been to.  This is a great way to infuse your personality into your wedding.

Lastly, we kicked off the dance floor with a slow song.  Slow songs are perfect when there are a lot of couples in the crowd.

Slow dance at wedding

A good way to open the dance floor is a slow dance. It’s universal and easy.
