I was honoured to provide sounds for the grand opening of Lees Badminton in Mississauga. This new training centre is beautiful and very professionally laid out. It works well when you want to play badminton but was a challenging environment to provide decent sound for. My client was keen on making sure echoes were minimal and there was no microphone feedback when speakers were talking. The power outlets were also in very difficult locations. I visited the site beforehand to avoid surprises like these and worked with my client to set this up to exceed their expectations.
Of course, I only post about the super fun events. This was one of them. I met some of Canada’s top Badminton players and was treated to some exhibition games. I went home with a better appreciation for the sport.
