We’ve been catering to out of town clients getting married in Toronto for years.  Sophia and Aaron were a joy to work with.  We had super fun planning the wedding through the power of the internet.

This wedding was held in Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites & Conference Centre.  The last time we were here, we got soaked in the rain while doing an outdoor wedding ceremony.  We’re working indoors this time around.  Whew!  The Grand Ballroom was elegantly decorated as always…

Sophia and Aaron had friends and family coming from all over.  Even our Wedding MC was imported from Hong Kong.

Finally, it was a pleasure to work with such talented videographers from Henjofilms.  Give Henry and Joanie a ring if you need a videographer.

Portrait of bride and groom at the wedding ceremony

A beautiful portrait of the bride and groom’s silhouette welcomes guests at the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was held indoors inside one of the conference rooms.

Bride enters the room

Here comes the bride…

Sculpture of bride and groom

This large sculpture was made by one of the groom’s friends. It’s made of white foam. We them used uplighting to colour it with light. Looks amazing.

Hilton Markham dance floor

The dance floor at the Hilton Markham grand ballroom is sizeable.

Mother's day thanks at the wedding.

Wedding speeches are the norm here. The bride and groom thank their moms as it was Mother’s day.

12 course wedding banquet at Hilton Markham

This is the menu for the evening. A 12 course meal was prepared for all the guests and vendors. The Hilton Markham catering team did a fantastic job – especially with the crab claws.

Large projector screen

This is a view of our projector screen. We used an extra large 120″ screen so everyone can see the show.

Alcoholic drinks for cocktails

The DJ’s favourite tools… We don’t drink it but it brings more life to the party when guests do.

Dessert table

A dessert table was also setup just outside the Grand Ballroom. All sorts of pastries, coffee and tea are available for all our music lovers.

Newly wed game

This is a good twist on the shoe game. The bride and groom write down their answers on a small white board. It’s a refreshing alternative and just needs the extra props compared to the shoe game.

Bouquet Toss with guys

Bouquet toss with a twist… There weren’t a lot of single guys to do the garter toss so we decided to include the guys in the bouquet toss. We’re, you know, all for diversity and inclusion here.

Slow dance at the wedding

Dancing starts at the end of dinner. We usually like to kick off with something slow. Especially when there are a lot of couples in the crowd.

Wedding crowd dancing

Party time! It’s a Sunday night. People have work tomorrow. But we still managed to have fun and dance to some funky grooves.
